It’s just not the same without you mama. How I miss you. My heart literally, physically hurts. One of the last things I asked you was, “…what am I going to do without my best friend ?!” And just so you know, I still haven’t figured it out… there is and always be an emptiness, a longing for you. I love you soooooo much!! Some things I’ve learned so far… Grief comes in waves. You never know when it will hit … a smell… a song… a place… a picture… the list goes on. One minute you can be laughing and in the same minute start crying. It’s exhausting. It loves carbs (thank you Elizabeth for giving me the words). The stages of grief aren’t linear. And if you’ve gone through one stage it doesn’t mean you won’t go through it again.
