Title: Susan’s Story

Topic: Unconditional Love and Grief/Loss

I met Susan Anderson 5 years ago as a very broken girl coming out of divorce and an addiction to Xanax from being a survivor of mesh from major surgery, she took me under her care & has shown me what unconditional love looks like welcoming me into her family & walked out the last five years of life with me.. Looking back it’s not all been easy however I’ve been able to see Jesus thru this lady & felt seen, heard & most of all LOVED… I’m not the same girl since meeting her that day @ Victory Sports Complex I’m a healed survivor & live to show others recovery is possible & it’s also messy however it’s been life-changing for me & I’m very honored to call this lady (My) friend.

Susan's Story: "Called to minister the word of God in my thirties. Meeting and marrying my husband for 52 years now. The privilege of raising three children. My son and the oldest child in my family married his wife when they were both 36. They had been friends for 9 years. The family was ecstatic!  A year and half after their destination wedding on the island of St. Croix, they announced they were pregnant and expecting a boy, Micah Patrick Anderson. Everything about the pregnancy went smoothly. Then a month before his delivery I made my annual trip to Israel. The last day there I received a message from my husband to call home. When I did I was told that my grandson had died in his mother's womb and that they were in the process of delivering a stillborn baby. The shock to the family was major.  One of my traveling companions to me to a prayer room where I had a power encounter with my living Lord Jesus Christ. As I came from the encounter I was filled with the  righteous anger of the Lord against the enemy who comes to steal, kill and destroy. I stood on Mt. Zion and made declarations by the Spirit of God!  I will praise the Lord TWICE as much! I will prayer twice as much. I will fight the enemy twice as much.  The healing of our hearts was a process. But 2 years later I became a grandmother of twins. We were blessed with a boy and a girl! The joy of God's restoration is wonderful."
